Conneq promotes and advertises freelancers across our network of businesses and production companies. We give priority to freelancers who have fully completed their profile. Additionally, we encourage self-promotion by sharing your profile link with prospective customers. When you have been identified for a specific gig, you will receive a text message with all of the gig details, including pay rate. If you accept a gig, the gig will appear on the Shifts tab in the Conneq mobile app.
We give priority to freelancers who have 100% complete profiles and whose profiles are being used by customers to check availability.
Upload a headshot and at least one portfolio media item. Select skills, roles, and tools. Ensure that you’ve answered at least 2-3 short insights and also completed a short bio about yourself.
Conneq features an integrated payments platform built in partnership with Stripe. Once you’ve completed a simple setup process in the Conneq mobile app, payments will be deposited into your linked Stripe bank account post gig completion.
We do not store any bank account information on the Conneq platform. All bank account details and payment information reside on the Stripe platform, a trusted payments provider used by companies like Lyft and Instacart.
Conneq is free for freelancers. We charge customers a booking fee for gigs that are scheduled on our platform.
Stripe will automatically generate a single 1099 for you to file as part of your tax return. Your Stripe account username and password are separate from Conneq, allowing you to manage your finances at your discretion.

Browse our featured freelancers on our homepage and search based on role and location using our search tool. View key details such as rich media, skills and more on individual freelancer profile pages. If you find someone you like, simply click on ‘Check Availability’ to initiate an instant availability request. If your selected freelancer is available for your gig, you will have the option of confirming your gig details and checking out.
Absolutely. Simply click on the Message icon on your selected freelancer profile to initiate a conversation thread.
If you need to cancel one of your scheduled gigs, contact support@conneq.com. Note that we enforce a 48-hour cancellation window to ensure continuity and equality within our freelancer community.
Conneq charges a 10-20% service fee for each booking. We believe in complete transparency, and our invoices break out our service fee from fees paid to your freelancer.
